Lisa Meyer’s work is influenced by her connection to the landscape in which she lives, and is heavily informed by

nature. Her content is generally abstract and focuses on evoking memories and emotions. Meyer works in a variety of media: kiln-formed glass,encaustic, metal and paint. Using diverse techniques, which require heat and time to transform the media from the ordinary into the meaningful, satisfies her need to create with richness and complexity.

 

Meyer creates from her private studio in the Texas Hill Country. She makes her home along Cibolo Creek with her
