Kari Roberts-Sackmann
Kari Roberts-Sackmann is a San Antonio-based artist who
parlays her intense love affair with mixed media into works
that speak of self-portraiture, motherhood and feminism.
In addition to her role as an artist, Roberts-Sackmann is a wife, mother to her six-year-old son and four-year-old daughter and works as a registered nurse in a neonatal intensive care unit.
She has had solo exhibitions at Bihl Haus Arts (San Antonio
2012), Adrian Falcon Gallery (Del Rio 2008) and Studio
106B (San Antonio 2008), as well as numerous group shows
throughout Texas and the United States.
She received a BFA in painting from the School of the Art
Institute of Chicago in 2006.
