M. Guadalupe

Marmolejo 

The Mexican born visual artist M. Guadalupe Marmolejo finished her formal education at Cal Arts in Valencia,California, in 1983. From there she made her way to some of the most prestigious advertising agencies in the country, first as a highly skilled paste-up artist, then to her highly awarded work as creative director.

 

She now dedicates her efforts to creating work that encompasses her keen eye, board skills, her passion for technology and her strong conceptual thinking.Marmolejo’s work ranges from photo-based, large-scale, original archival pigment prints to meticulous hand crafted pieces.

 

Her exhibitions include The Southwest School of Art, An Arte Gallery, Casa Margarita, Gallery Nord, Rockport Center for the Arts, HighWire Arts Gallery, UT Health Science Center Department of Psychology, Centro de Artes, Cultural Commons Gallery, Centro Cultural Atzlan, Northwest Vista College Library, Carver Community Cultural Center, Huisache Grill, Guadalupe Cultural Arts Center, Coastal Bend College, Louise Hopkins Center for the Arts, McNay Museum, among others.
