Pursuing what has always been a passion–fine art, Bonnie Kirkley is currently working in oil, reinterpreting early conceptual studies and exploring metaphysical themes. She says extensive travel has broadened her vision and contributed to her creative versatility and expression. Intent on imparting beauty and sensitivity to a chaotic world, her work is a colorful documentary of her life’s spiritual journey and experiences. Her work was selected for the Artpace San Antonio 2015 Open Call shortlist.

 

Kirkley studied commercial art and began a career in adver-tising as a fashion illustrator and catalog stylist. Working as a visual coordinator for Chico’s, she grabs as much time as possible to paint and exhibit. Her visual and merchandising design for the Army Air Force Exchange
