Jameson 

Betty Jameson earned a BA in art education and a MA in creative expression from the University of Puget Sound, Tacoma, Washington. She earned a MA in creative expression from the University of Hawaii. She continued her studies in Washington, D.C. at the Torpedo Factory, the Corcoran Museum of Art, Georgetown University as well as participating in workshops with renowned color theorist, Joy Turner Luke.

 

Jameson, who now calls the Austin area her home, is the 2014 poster artist for the Georgetown, Texas Red Poppy Festival. She also has two paintings in the 2014 Austin City Hall People’s Gallery. She has won many awards, including selection into the 132nd American Watercolor Society’s International Exhibit. Her works have been published in Watercolor Magic and Holistic Medicine magazines and the Steamboat Springs Art Guide. She is the label artist for Messina Hof’s 2005 Private Reserve wine and illustrator of two children’s books.
