Art has always been a part of my life. From drawing as an indoor, less-than-active kid, to taking lessons in composition and painting, I found a muse that followed me into college and beyond.  Training with Bill Hocker at the San Antonio Art Institute, I learned some mastery of watercolor as a medium and returned for some playful inner child time to acrylic when a friend introduced me to the fun and freedom of abstract collage.  I enjoy the process of layering, composing, and editing pieces and colors and strive for movement and conveying the joy of color to the beholder.   It is my belief that Art should be valued as a process to restore the soul as well as a product that makes the world more beautiful.
