A journalist and photographer, Chel Delaney’s articles and photos have appeared in newspapers and magazines. Her editorial photos have received first place awards from the New Mexico Press Association. In her fine art, the constant sense of struggling life in the natural landscape is what attracts her. She is also drawn to strong graphic or painterly settings.
Delaney graduated from the University of South Carolina,Columbia, with a BA in English. She studied photography at The School of Visual Arts, New York City, The Southwest School of Art, San Antonio, and has participated in numerous art workshops. Her work has been shown at the Jacksonville Art Museum member show, Galleria Contemporania, both in Florida, and A Smith Gallery in Johnson City, Texas.
