Born: Lima, Peru.

Malena Stidham grew-up in Miami,Florida and earned her art degree from Miami - Dade College.

 

In 2019, Stidham received a “Special Recognition - Merit award” for her piece “The Favela Do Brazil” at the International Art Exhibition hosted by The Light Space and Time Gallery.

 

Stidham's work employs bold color coupled with multicultural backgrounds. She has produced many, large-scale murals in public schools and libraries throughout South Florida, and Texas. Currently, she resides in San Antonio,where she has a home/studio and works as a book illustrator and enjoys teaching art to children.

Her art has been exhibited in conjunction with her students´ at the Schertz/Cibolo Public Library.
