Yvonne Kylstra is an oil painter who began working as an abstract expressionist while living in North Carolina.  After returning to South Texas her work evolved to painterly realism with influences from the Post-Impressionists.  She has exhibited in group and solo shows in the Coastal Bend area and in San Antonio.  She holds a Masters of Arts from Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi.
