Lisa Raché

Brown

Originally, Lisa Raché Brown was a writer and actor in the South Beach, Miami, comedy troupe Punch 59, and a stand-up comic, who wrote and performed her routines. Then suddenly, after spending her young adult years as a performing artist, Brown became attracted to the visual arts stage. She began to study and work with acrylics. Her artwork has paved the way for self-expression and advocacy. A supporter of animal nonprofits, she often donates her pieces for their events.

Brown takes her inspiration from her compatriots in the performing and comedic arts and from her travels abroad. She gravitates toward the whimsical side of the cultures that she has encountered and her goal is to evoke a sense of playfulness inthose who view her art.
